The Beasts Within the Blossoms is an illustrated story inspired by the folklore surrounding The Didsbury Parsonage in Manchester.

According to local tales, the parsonage’s chickens were unusually aggressive—known to chase and even attack unsuspecting visitors. I wanted to reimagine this darker piece of folklore and transform it into something more playful and whimsical. Through both the illustrations and the narrative, this project turns a curious local myth into a light-hearted story filled with character and charm.
